Miley Cyrus Says New Album Is 'Ready to Go' & Teases Hannah Montana Revival in 2020

Miley Cyrus has stated her new album 'Ready to Go' & Teases Hannah Montana Revival

If you're a Miley Cyrus fan in 2020, you're waiting for two things: her new album and any type of Hannah Montana revival or reunion. Well, it looks like we may be getting both as the star talked about her new music and a possible revival of her hit Disney Channel show during a recent interview with Nashville's 107.5 The River.

During her interview, Miley shared that her album is "pretty much written and ready to go" and then teased some more of what fans can expect to hear from the project. She explained, "I actually listened to a bunch of it in my car today and everything is so sounding so wicked. And one of the things I love about it is the diversity of sound that it does have, just like "Backyard Sessions" I'm going to do with the covers. It really just tells a story and I feel like the [album] is sonically me. If it could take a physical form, it would paint a picture of myself. So, the influences range from Dolly [Parton] to Stevie [Nicks], to Joan [Jett], to [Chris] Cornell."

Speaking of iconic influences, Miley recently performed an amazing cover of Blondie's "Heart of Glass" during the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival that she ended up releasing on streaming platforms for fans due to popular demand from fans.

At the very end of the interview, Miley also teased that a revival of Hannah Montana could actually be in the works at some point in the future. When asked about the subject, Cyrus took a small pause and said, "At some point, I'm definitely, I'm getting the wig out of storage."
